Our Vision

CAPT, Inc. supports the development of a process technician workforce that is highly skilled, educated, diverse, and consistently delivers bottom-line results for industry.

To accomplish this, the Center fosters the development and enhancement of quality education and training products and programs based on industry-established standards.

 

Key Strategies

The work of CAPT, Inc. is focused around three key strategies:
  • Strategy 1: Curriculum Development

    Develop a curriculum framework that incorporates a closed-loop system for assessment-- skill standards, instructional materials, and examinations.

  • Strategy 2: Faculty Development

    Provide opportunities for educators to enhance knowledge and skills inprocessing technologies.

  • Strategy 3: Capacity Building

Establish and foster partnerships linking industry, education, and government to advance process technology education.
